The Lancaster United Methodist Church welcomes you to Lancaster Wisconsin! We invite you to worship with us during our Sunday morning worship service. Worship begins at 10:00 a.m. with coffee hour following. Conveniently located at the corner of Cherry and Monroe Streets, we are just one block east of the Grant County courthouse.
The mission of the Lancaster United Methodist Church is “Seek God, Share Christ, Serve Others, Sing Praises.” We strive to develop our faith in God, accept each other in Christian love, be filled with God’s Spirit of peace, and spread Christian influence and love to all people everywhere. The worship experience strives to fulfill our mission of pointing people toward God, growing in fellowship with God, and encountering God through Jesus Christ.
Our effort to spread Christian love to all people is visible through our programs, outreach projects, and service to the greater Lancaster area. The Lancaster Preschool, which began in 1972, is an ongoing local mission project. LUMC is part of the Lancaster Association of Churches which provides many services for people in the area, including a food pantry for people in need. The United Methodist Women are tirelessly working for the betterment of the church and the community.
With an interesting history, the church has been a spiritual leader in the Lancaster area since Wisconsin became a state in 1848. As part of the Coulee District of the Wisconsin United Methodist Church organization, we work with other United Methodist Churches to sponsor colleges, hospitals, nursing homes, and shelters.
Rev. Erika Martinez-Flores currently serves as our pastor. She is willing to provide support for anyone needing pastoral services. Our church staff, or any of our members, would be happy to visit with you about our church.
Like Jesus, our Lord and Savior, we strive to live, give and love beyond all expectations.
